Welcome to my personal page. For the past 18+ years of my career, I’ve worked in various roles in Marketing, Events, and Development. During this time, I’ve learned a lot about myself. For one, I realized that I’m not defined by my career or a degree but the combination of all the things I value most in my life.
In 2012 I had the desire to create my personal brand called @danelialoves. The objective was to help empower individuals to live purposefully, cultivate self-love, and foster leadership skills. My hope is that as I share my story, the good, bad, and the ugly, I can inspire others and make a difference in their life.
The 3 attributes that helped shaped this mission and also became the foundation for my own personal journey are – Leadership, Faith, and Purpose.
To receive ongoing updates on my journey, inspirational messages, and resources to help you live a life with purpose, I invite you to subscribe to my blog below.
What I Write About
The first step to growing as a leader is to understand how to follow. Following takes patience, wisdom, and humility. It also takes the right kind of attitude and the desire to serve. Here’s a scripture describing a good leader.
The one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. – Romans 12:8
This is really the foundation for everything in my life. We can merely exist in this universe or live a life filled with hope. Believing in miracles, relinquishing control, accepting and receiving the goodness God brings and allowing him to lead our path.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
Identifying and living a life filled with purpose is what life is all about. We each have a mission to fulfill. A story to tell. Find what you love and align everything in your life to that love. That is living with purpose.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11
